The Role:
As a Junior Software Developer, you will:
- Develop Your Skills: Work under supervision to deliver software components within a multidisciplinary team.
- Engage in Testing: Understand and become proficient in various types of testing methodologies.
- Contribute to Security: Be aware of security practices and contribute to protecting solutions and services.
Main Duties:
- Actively participate and contribute to the developer community.
- Continuously improve the quality of software and systems produced.
- Develop your skills and knowledge through agreed personal development activities.
- Follow industry best practices aligned with HMLR standards and approved technologies.
- Identify and implement optimizations to the development process.
- Learn and understand legacy technology and systems as required.
- Gain insights into Land Registry operations, including casework and register data.

About You:
To be eligible for this placement, you must:
- Have completed the second year of a relevant IT-related degree program by September 2025 and be seeking a placement year in the industry before finishing your degree.
- Possess technical skills in:
- Frontend web technologies
- Operating systems and environments
- Programming languages
- Relational databases
