Your new company
My client is a leading architectural practice made up of 90 staff across 3 offices in the UK. In the last 7 years, they have become a stapled practice in the top 10 architects on the Barbour index. This is a rare opportunity to join a practice with a small but accomplished BIM team to provide guidance and support to project teams in order to utilise Revit in the most effective way.
The practice holds a BSI BIM Design and Construction KitemarkTM and operates a system of standards complying with BS EN ISO 19650.
Your new role
As a Junior BIM Technician, you will be completing daily tasks such as:
- Developing and maintaining 3D models: Creating accurate 3D models of buildings and infrastructure using BIM software like Autodesk Revit.
- Producing detailed drawings: Generating detailed drawings and layouts from the BIM models to assist in the design and construction processes.
- Conducting clash detection: Identifying and resolving conflicts within the BIM models to prevent issues during construction.
- Providing technical support: Assisting in troubleshooting and providing technical support related to BIM software.
- Very good knowledge of Revit
- Revit modelling, model management and content creation experience.
- Knowledge / experience of UK BIM standards such as BS EN ISO 19650.
- Knowledge of Navisworks / Solibri and clash detection experience.
- Ideally, experience working in a similar role within practice.
