IT Technician (First Line)An established private school is seeking a dedicated First Line IT Technician to provide high-quality, customer-focused technical support. In this role, you will work closely with staff and students, addressing a range of IT issues to ensure smooth daily operations. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting, resolving technical queries, and maintaining school IT systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues (PCs, laptops, printers, etc.)
• Perform basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi connectivity, LAN issues)
• Support Windows operating systems and common applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Install and configure software and updates
• Ensure basic security protocols (antivirus, firewalls, user permissions)
• Manage user accounts and passwords (Active Directory, email systems)
• Assist with cloud-based services and backups
• Troubleshoot and maintain AV equipment (projectors, interactive whiteboards)
• Set up and maintain network cabling (patching, routers, switches)

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annumHours: Monday to Friday, term time only (on-site).
