IT Support Technician | Windows 2nd line BAU Support, Hardware Support, Mobile phones | SC Clearance:
Must have Active SC Clearance to be considered for this position at this time
The role:
- We are currently working with a Tech Consultancy, who are looking for two SC Cleared 2nd Line Support Engineers to provide BAU Support and Hardware break/fix for one of their clients in Derby.
Key Information:
- Duration: 6 months - very highly likely extensions.
- Pay: Circa £170 - £180 per day Inside IR35
- Location: On site in Derby 5 days per week.
- Start Date: Jan 2025
- Circa 7.5 working hours per day
The Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT Service environment
- Ideally certified in appropriate technologies, Dell and Windows to support business strategy
- Provide IT Break/Fix Support (1st, 2nd line)
- Escalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are met.
- Ensure Department/Contract meets SLA performance targets
- Supporting Dell and HP kit, docking stations, keyboards, mice
- Windows 10/11 environment
- MS Outlook & Office 2016
- 2nd Line Software Support & Installation
- Keep skills up to date with IT industry standards as appropriate to the role/contract
- Understand and adhere to policies and procedures
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction levels
