IT Support Engineer

Our UK based customer has recently openned a new office in Paris and as such seeking ongoing support for their growing user base. The users were initially supported remotely however it's been decided that an onsite Engineer is required. The long-term IT strategy for this Paris location is still under discussion so this role could extend or become permanent for the right candidate, but in the meantime, they see value in supplementing their UK-based helpdesk with onsite technical support on a contract basis.
Job Duties:- Providing technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT problems in a timely manner
- Installing and configuring computer systems
- Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Assisting with IT projects and upgrades
- French Language Skills
- Right To Work/Ability to Work Onsite in France
- O365
- Windows 10/11
- Acitive Directory
- Deskside Support
- Basic Network Support
- Experience with White Glove/VIP User Beneficial
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT Support roles
Knowledge and Skills:- Strong understanding of IT systems and networks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
