I'm looking for a IT Security and Data enthusiast looking to develop a worldwide security strategy for one of the UK's leading brands!

Who are they looking for?
This really is a cracking role as it is essentially a blank canvas and one of those roles you can really "make your own". Your remit will be to develop an IT Security and Data Protection Strategy to ensure sensitive information across the business is safeguarded. Alongside this, you will also recruit, train and develop your very own team of Security Analysts!This is an autonomous role within an incredibly busy and fast paced environment so you'll be expected to be on the ball at all times. You will monitor the threat landscape here - keeping informed about cyber threats and vulnerabilities, identifying Security Risks, conducting risk assessments and also develop mitigation strategies.

As IT Security and Data Protection Manager you will also develop and incident response plan and lead response effects and also educate the wider business on Security awareness and training.

You'll have a couple of professional certifications under your be CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalent and you'll have a good handle on data protection regulations and cyber security best practice!
