McCabe and Barton are partnering with a growing global ESG client in recruiting for an IT Operations Manager on a permanent basis.

The Role

We're seeking an IT Operations Manager to join our client's dynamic team in London. This pivotal role combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic vision, supporting approximately 50 users in a SaaS-centric environment.

Location: Central London (3 days in office, 2 days WFH option)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the SaaS-based technology stack (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Salesforce)
• Collaborate with the IT Managed Service Provider for 1st and 2nd line support
• Implement IT security strategies and policies with the security vendor
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Contribute to IT roadmap development and strategic planning

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years in an IT operations, role, preferably in a SaaS-heavy environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, and Salesforce
• Experience with Microsoft Cloud-based services (Entra, Intune, Autopilot)
• Strong Vendor management experience
• Must be hands on and be able to work stand-alone
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of IT security best practices
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Relevant IT certifications (eg, ITIL, CISSP, PMP) preferred
