Job Title: IT Manager

Location: Eurocentral ML1 4WQ- 5 days in the office

Duration: 12 months contract

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational implementation, monitoring and maintenance of an IT strategy across the group both at local & regional level to meet the business needs and future growth.
  • Manage the IT systems resources across the group, including recruitment and line management to ensure sufficient and effective resource is available to implement projects and support the business needs and growth.
  • Implementation and management of a pro-active and effective centralised IT support team that will advise, monitor, troubleshoot and support IT and business system requests to ensure the systems are operational, kept up to date, effective and efficient.
  • Manage and report on the implementation of IT system projects and ensure the Global IT team have the appropriate workload and manage the performance of the assigned workload.
  • Development, management and reporting of financial operational expenditure, forecasts, and budgets for Global IT systems.
  • Establish a high level of innovation in the role as well as the wider Global IT team by ensuring the right level of skills, knowledge and technology is developed and maintained.
  • Provide technical direction and advice to project team members in the delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with Director of Global IT providing input into wider Global IT business strategy.
  • Lead Project delivery to ensure the success of assigned Projects.
  • Ensuring effective knowledge of our IT systems for all employees with regular communication with effective and accessible training on how to best to setup, manage and utilize the systems in use and for new system and application implementations.
  • Collaboration with the Information Security Team to support the implementation of effective security management and controls of our IT systems, corporate networks, and business intellectual property.
  • Deliver effective reporting for assigned Projects.
  • Lead the management of suppliers and third-party partnerships that are required to maintain the operation of our IT systems.
  • Support the gathering of requirements, research into business system solutions, procurement, setup, configuration, and training of new business systems.

Essential Experience:

Essential

  • Previous experience as an IT Manager within a multi-site organisation, ideally global and/or with a high degree of change with manufacturing facilities.
  • ICT industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments with superior problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
  • A proven ability to work as a member of a team and to manage diverse teams within tight deadlines
  • A proved ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Handling business critical system outages
  • Defining, implementing, and improving IT policies and processes
  • Familiar with working in an ISO 27001 certified organisation and contributing to improving processes
  • Demonstrable Technical Leadership skills for example, enabling continuous improvement, solution design, requirements elicitation

Desirable

  • SaaS experience
  • Experience within an Agile software development environment
  • Line management experience to manage day to day performance and longer-term development of team members
  • Growing a Corporate IT capability from the ground up.
  • Working in a team where managers and peers are remote/global.

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology
