Job Description
50% on-site in brussels, 50% remote working
Must be based in Brussels.
Proficiency in French and English; basic Dutch is a plus.
As an Incident Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, managing escalated incidents, and driving continuous improvement.
Role Overview:
Start Date: 3rd February 2025
End Date: 2nd February 2026
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end monitoring and resolution of major incident
- Coordinate escalated incidents and crisis meetings, ensuring swift service restoration.
- Maintain clear communication with IT teams and internal customers regarding incident status.
- Develop Post-Incident Reports (PIRs) and identify potential structural improvements.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly incident reports, trend analyses, and lessons learned
Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Certification: ITIL certified.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years in incident management, particularly with complex, transversal incidents.
- Experience in a banking environment is advantageous.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of multi-platform IT architecture and dependencies.
- Languages: Proficiency in French and English (both oral and written); basic Dutch is a plus.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Dynamic, accurate, proactive, and an excellent team player.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and action plans
