IT Asset Manager (f/m/d) with Bachelor's degree

The Bundesrechnungshof acts as an external financial auditor to ensure that the government and administration handle taxpayers' money properly and economically. We audit all federal expenditure and revenue. Our mission is to maintain the state's ability to act through stable public finances.

The Information and Communication Technology Unit sees itself as the driving force behind digitalization at the Bundesrechnungshof. It offers auditors innovative and audit-specific IT solutions and thus focuses on the core business of the Bundesrechnungshof. It provides colleagues in the administration with standardized and efficient IT solutions. All IT solutions are designed in partnership and in close cooperation with the employees of the Bundesrechnungshof.

We are looking for our IT department
a specialist (f/m/d) for the
IT asset management

Your tasks
  • Collaboration in the operation and further development of the merchandise management system for the IT equipment of the BRH
  • Coordinating the deployment of employees in the IT logistics team
  • Collaboration in the design and implementation of the digitalization of work processes in the IT department
What you bring with you
  • You have completed your Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or a comparable subject with a grade of at least "good".
  • Alternatively, you have completed a Bachelor's degree in another subject area with a grade of at least "good" and have several years of demonstrable professional experience in IT asset management, preferably in public administration.
  • Industry knowledge in IT logistics, experience in analyzing and designing IT processes, in project management and in managing external partners are advantageous.
  • Relevant professional experience in the preparation and management of IT budgets and in the procurement of complex IT services is also advantageous.
  • You have a good technical understanding and a willingness to familiarize yourself with new areas of activity.
  • You have professional experience or knowledge in the field of materials accounting
  • You are confident with the common MS Office applications.
  • You agree to undergo a security check in accordance with Section 9 of the Security Check Act.
  • If you already have professional experience, your current employer has assessed you well, but you are still looking for a new challenge.
  • You have German citizenship.
We offer
  • You enter the service as a civil servant. If you do not yet meet the requirements under career law, we will employ you on a permanent basis until you are taken on as a civil servant.
  • If you are already a civil servant, we will take you on in a corresponding position.
  • Depending on your suitability, performance and aptitude, we will offer you a position in the higher civil service up to salary group A 13g BBesO or a job in a comparable pay group TVöD until your intended appointment as a civil servant. In the Federal Court of Audit, a salary of A 13g + Z BBesO is achievable for all disciplines; in addition, we regularly carry out promotion procedures to the higher service.
  • We pay you a ministerial allowance.
