Well known Local Authority in London with a prestigious portfolio of properties seeking to recruit an Interim Strategic Asset Manager to join their existing team on a rolling contract basis. You will be working in an affluent part of London with a variety of local amenities close by and great transport links via bus and tube stations.
Your new role
This post holder will support and assist the Strategic Asset Management Lead and the Head of Strategic Capital and Asset Management by carrying out the day-to-day delivery and management of the Council's strategic asset management plan and ensuring that the Council has a land and buildings portfolio that is fit for purpose, cost-effective and enables service departments to deliver their existing and future services in the most effective way.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong knowledge of asset management principles, surveying techniques, building construction, and relevant legislation.
Previous experience working in an asset management capacity across a public sector portfolio is desirable.
MRICS is desirable but not essential.
