Infrastructure Storage Engineer
Salary Range: £50,000 to £57,000
Package: Excellent Company Benefits
Hybrid Model: Remote (must be available to attend ad-hoc visits to Portsmouth/London office)
About the Role:
My client, a leading UK based IT Services & Consulting organisation are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to provide leadership as well as strong hands-on input into the team that is responsible for supporting various large-scale IT solutions. For both the client's customers, as well as their own internal systems (maintaining the infrastructure, Servers, storage and network).
Candidate Experience (A combination of several of the following):
- Experience providing leadership to infrastructure teams.
General experience & understanding of managing:
- Server (Dell/Lenovo)
- Storage (NetApp/IBM/Lenovo)
- Virtualisation (VMWare/Hyper-V)
- Backup (VEEAM/NetBackUp)
Candidate Skills/Role Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in lead roles/providing guidance within infrastructure teams
- Strong experience with VMware/Veeam/Netbackup
- Willingness to support a 24*7 support (if required)
- Desire to learn and expand on current knowledge
- 5+ years in similar roles
- Understanding of IT Consultancy Environment
- Strong customer facing skills/ability to support customers
