About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to work with a leading healthcare organisation focused on delivering transformative digital solutions.
As part of the IT Infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising critical IT systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. Working closely with IT teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to key initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support cutting-edge digital services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless delivery, integration, and operation of IT infrastructure services.
- Maintain dependable IT systems, including Office 365, Active Directory, and Azure platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, prioritise system diagnostics, and document resolutions.
- Strengthen cyber security measures, including Firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and third-party providers to implement solutions and improvements.
- Provide technical input into policies, governance forums, and enterprise architecture.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Microsoft certification and advanced expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting for automation and optimisation tasks.
- Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, hybrid infrastructures, and Intune.
- Extensive experience with security configurations, including anti-malware and Firewalls.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
- Microsoft Azure certification.
- Experience with VMWare vSphere in large, complex environments.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, including Always On availability groups.
IR35 Status:
This contract falls inside IR35, and candidates must work via a compliant PAYE setup or umbrella company.
