Key Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure Design:
- Design resilient, scalable, and high-performance infrastructure systems for large-scale, multi-site environments.
- Apply knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman, and ITIL frameworks.
- Virtualization, Containerization & Edge Computing:
- Proficiency in VMware, AHV, and KVM.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for microservices-based applications.
- Understand edge computing for smart manufacturing.
- Scripting, Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
- Automate deployments and configurations using CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement self-healing infrastructure with AIOps and automation tools.
- Performance Monitoring & IT Service Management:
- Expertise in observability tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- ITSM knowledge (ServiceNow) for large-scale incident response.
- Proactive capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Compliance, Governance & Risk Management:
- Deep understanding of GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ISO Standards.
- Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Implement audit-ready and validated systems.
- High Availability & Disaster Recovery:
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are in place.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to align infrastructure with business needs.
- Documentation & Best Practices:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, policies, and best practices.
- Networking & Security in a Regulated Environment:
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, Firewalls, and Load Balancing.
- Deep understanding of Zero Trust Security, IAM, SIEM, and NIST/CIS frameworks.
