Info Sec Analyst

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependant on experience)

I am working with an exciting client based in Brighton to find an Information Security Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. This would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional, with an understanding and interest in information/cyber security to level up their skills and their career on a long-term basis. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and policy management, working closely with technical teams and supporting audit processes.

You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing security policies, managing technical security systems, conducting security reviews, and overseeing our outsourced Security Operations Centre (SOC). Additionally, you will lead the management of security incidents, support internal and external audits, and deliver security awareness training across the business.

Key skill set includes:

• Extensive knowledge of ISO 27001a, Cyber Essentials, and best practices in information security.
• Technical proficiency in Cloud services (Office 365, Azure, AWS).
• Experience in managing or collaborating with a Security Operations Centre (SOC).
• Practical experience in penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response management.
• Comprehensive understanding of audit procedures and third-party risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
