Job Description

We have a new opportunity for a Income and Reconciliations Officer to join our fantastic Finance Business Processes team here at RBL.
This busy role will see you responsible for accurately recording and reconciling charitable income for RBL and subsidiaries on a monthly basis. You will be liaising with staff from all departments across our organisation, ensuring that any unrecorded or unreconciled income is resolved on a timely basis and that outstanding debts are followed up.

Reporting to the Income and Reconciliations Supervisor, day to day responsibilities will include:
- Responding to queries from internal and external customers, ensuring you provide an excellent level of customer service
- Taking full responsibility for certain ledger accounts
- Ensuring that appropriate records are maintained to support the production of the annual statutory accounts and the audit
- Carrying out administrative tasks related credit cards and banking
- Reconciling petty cash for the Care Homes, identifying any discrepancies and ensuring that they are resolved, while providing guidance and support for Care Homes staff on correct procedure
- Liaising with external providers regarding income discrepancies
- Produce debtor reports and liaise with other departments regarding action needed on outstanding debts
You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.
We also welcome applications from candidates who wish to be contracted to our Edinburgh, New Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at this Hub (without the addition of London Supplement to salary).
