If so, this is your opportunity to join Hyster-Yale as a Theatre Commodity Manager - Aftermarket (Parts) for the EMEA region!
About the RoleAs a Theatre Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for managing global and regional suppliers to support Hyster-Yale's Aftermarket business. Your key focus will be ensuring the continuity of parts supply, maintaining strong business relationships with suppliers, and driving successful negotiations on pricing and terms. You will also play a crucial role in resolving capacity, quality, and delivery issues, implementing sourcing strategies, and supporting aftermarket growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier relationships and implement global/regional sourcing strategies.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to meet annual targets and objectives.
- Ensure strong collaboration between HYG and suppliers, including resolving any escalated quality or delivery issues.
- Execute global procurement programs such as Annual Cost Reviews, Process Reviews, and Supplier Scorecards.
- Support aftermarket projects and new product development.
- Manage the phase-out of parts to ensure continued supply.
- Contribute to aftermarket operations' profit and market share growth initiatives.
- Experience in procurement and/or engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of procurement or related experience in a commercial environment.
- Broad technical understanding of major lift truck systems and components.
- Proven skills in purchasing, negotiation, and problem resolution.
- Relentless focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed reporting environment.
- Positive attitude, great team player, and highly results-oriented.
What we offer:
- A salary ranging from €4.500 to €5.500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
- 8% holiday allowance
- 27 vacation days plus 13 ADV (reduction of working hours) days per year for full-time employment
- Option to sell 6 ADV days per year, equating to 2.3% of your salary
- Ability to buy up to 10 additional vacation days or sell up to 6 days
- CAO Metalelektro (Metal Industry Collective Agreement)
- Participation in the PME pension fund (mandatory according to CAO)
- Option to work remotely up to 2 days a week
- Gross/net tax advantages (Fiscfree), such as discounts on bike purchases or gym memberships
- Flexible working hours, with the ability to start your workday between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM (depending on the role)
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per kilometer, up to a maximum of 30 km one-way (first 7.5 km not reimbursed), with a maximum daily reimbursement of €11.40

- €50 employer contribution towards pension premiums, as per CAO agreements (valid until 31-12-2024)
