Huxley Associates Belgium - Business / Functional Analysts

Several business / functional analysts needed for various clients in the private and public sectors.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and describe the current situation and the requirements for the solution.
• Write functional requirements documents, user stories, process flows, integration specifications
• Coordinate the implementation of applications from different fields within cross-functional projects.
• Design and implement the solution.
• Validate the functional analysis supplied by IT to check that the proposed solution completely meets specifications
• Support the business in specifying and running software validation tests (UAT) + coordinate integration tests, bug reviews,
• Contribute to backlog refinement, prioritization, and provide clarification during PI Planning.
• Collaboration with business users, product owners, architects, and technical teams to document clear, detailed, and testable requirements

Requirements

• Experience in the energy / Finance or in the public sector.
• Strong experience in gathering and defining functional and non-functional requirements.
• At least 1 year of experience in project management or administrative project coordination, demonstrating strong organizational and planning skills.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with integration frameworks, APIs, and Middleware solutions.
• Python and SQL skills with experience in software development, data science or related fields.
• 5+ years experience
• Location: Brussels - All clients have a hybrid remote work policy.
• Fluent in English (NL/FR is a plus)
• Freelance or CDI
