HSE Manager (Contract) - UK Projects
Location: UK (Multiple Project Sites)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term/Contract

About the Role:
WNTD is hiring an experienced HSE Manager on behalf of our client to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple UK project sites. This is a contract position requiring a proactive and hands-on approach to ensure a safe working environment while meeting all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures in line with UK regulations and industry best practices.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, identifying and addressing potential risks.
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective measures.
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and site teams.
- Report on HSE performance metrics, including incident trends, risk assessments, and compliance updates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HSE-related matters with regulatory authorities and project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification is essential.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, ideally within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Right to work in the UK is mandatory.
