Job Description

HR Business Partner - Fintech Vertical - Amsterdam - Hybrid

This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

To act as a strategic partner to the Financial Systems Leadership Team, advising on HR and people-related strategies to support the unit's growth, complexity, and organizational goals. The role includes driving talent management, organizational design, change management, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Partnership:

    • Work closely with leadership to align on strategic and tactical priorities, balancing perspectives from HR, management, employees, and the company.
    • Partner with Central People teams to execute the People Agenda for Financial Systems.
  2. Culture & Collaboration:

    • Strengthen team culture amidst rapid change and high complexity, fostering collaboration within the Fintech unit and across other brands.
  3. Talent Management:

    • Lead talent planning, including identifying skill gaps, career development frameworks, and strategic workforce planning.
  4. Organizational Design:

    • Drive structural development and lead change initiatives like reorganizations.
    • Ensure the team's capabilities align with short- and long-term business needs.
  5. HR Policy and Processes:

    • Identify and address risks/opportunities in HR policies, creating solutions and ensuring successful implementation.
    • Act as a bridge between the business and the People teams to predict challenges and co-create interventions.
  6. End-to-End HR Delivery:

    • Oversee implementation of critical People programs, including employee engagement, talent retention, and capability building.
  7. Change Management:

    • Guide teams through organizational changes and ensure quality HR planning for Works Council (WoCo) consultations.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience:

    • 5 - 8 years in HR, with strong HR advisory experience.
    • Proven track record in commercial, fast-paced, international Matrix environments.
    • Familiarity with Dutch labor law is essential.
  2. Skills:

    • Strong relationship-building, influence, and coaching capabilities.
    • Strategic thinker who is proactive, data-driven, and solutions-focused.
    • Comfortable partnering with and challenging senior C-level leaders.
    • Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  3. Language:

    • Fluent in English.
  4. Personal Attributes:
