Job Description
We are looking for an Interim HR Advisor to join us at Core Control Solutions, a small but growing business at the forefront of designing world-leading control systems and environmental solutions. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in an SME environment and is ready to take on a role that is both hands-on and strategic. You will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters, providing first-line advice to line managers, overseeing employee lifecycle processes and driving employee initiatives. As Interim HR Advisor at Core Control Solutions, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and grievances.
- Leading employee engagement surveys, analyse results, and implement strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Acting as the first point of contact for line managers on HR-related queries, including holidays, performance, policy, and benefits.
- Overseeing all absence management processes, ensuring compliance and support for managers and employees.
- Managing the recruitment and selection process, including onboarding new employees and managing sponsorship visas.
- Managing the apprenticeship programmes and support the recruitment and selection of apprentices.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (have or be working towards)
- Proven experience in a standalone HR role within an SME environment.
- A positive, proactive, and resilient mindset with a passion for getting stuck in and making a difference.
- Professional courage and the ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
- Strong situational decision-making skills.
- Experience in managing employee relations casework, including disciplinaries and grievances.
