Job description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will be expected to inspire and motivate students, helping them to achieve their full potential in History.
Key responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A degree in History or a related field.

Experience teaching History at secondary school level.

Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities

Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
