History or RE Teacher required to work long term at a Secondary School in Stockport

Your new companyHays are working with a secondary school in Stockport that is looking to recruit a History Teacher (or alternatively an RE Teacher).

Your new role
The role is to commence as soon as possible and will operate, full time, on a temporary basis until Half Term as a minimum. As the role is long term, you will be required to plan and prepare all lessons whilst differentiating between pupil ability. You will also be required to mark and assess all work ensuring that pupils are progressing in line with their target grades.
You will be developing and delivering History across both KS3 and KS4.
You will need to create a learning environment where pupils feel confident asking for support if needed, as well as ensuring all students are driven towards high achievement and are progressing well.
You will be working on a long-term supply basis, where your pay will be reflective of experience.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, it is essential that you hold a teaching qualification with QTS and have experience of teaching History or RE up to KS4 in the UK. You must be able to commence the role immediately and be able to commit to the full duration of the assignment.
