We are seeking a strategic, expert leader to implement our 2025/26 EDI Plan, ensuring that our regulatory processes are fair, inclusive, and free from bias.

About the role
As Head of Regulatory EDI, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our regulatory functions-covering Fitness to Practise, registration, revalidation, education, and standards-reflect the principles of fairness and inclusion. You will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of an ambitious Regulatory EDI Plan aligned with our corporate strategy.
  • Influence senior leadership, ensuring that EDI is embedded in regulatory policy, decision-making, and governance.

About You

  • Strong knowledge of equality legislation and the Public Sector Equality Duty.
  • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, using data insights to shape regulatory decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with a commitment to fostering an inclusive culture.
  • Experience leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring continuous improvement.
