Full Time Permanent c.£60,000 per annum plus benefits Location: Hybrid (Bath)

As Head of People and Culture and reporting to the Corporate Services Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and oversight on the development and delivery of the People Plan, encompassing HR policy and process, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance, training and development, reward and recognition. This is a Leadership position and you will contribute to organisational learning and strategy development and engage regularly with the Senior Leadership Team.
You will lead a small HR team (HR Coordinator and HR Administrator) and work collaboratively across the charity, acting as a business partner as needed to line managers at all levels, with a view to identifying barriers to performance and providing solutions. You'll be the operational lead for Trustee recruitment activity and support the Trustee appraisal process. You will steward an organisational culture which supports effective behaviours and ways of working, while aligning with the charity's values, mission and vision and you will be comfortable working at both a tactical and strategic level and, where necessary, challenging status quo thinking and promoting new methods.
- Are you a CIPD qualified HR generalist with extensive leadership and management experience who is used to working both at a tactical and strategic level?
- Do you have significant and proven experience of leading and managing HR functions and teams to deliver best in class service?
- Do you have sound and up-to-date generalist understanding of HR and organisational development practices, including change management, resourcing, compensation and benefits, policy development, complex employee relations and of UK employment legislation and regulations?
