Job Description

Head of Order to Cash (SAP)- Germany- Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global luxury fashion and eCommerce organisation on their search for a Head of OTC (SAP) to join their teams across Germany on a permanent basis.

The role:
They are looking for an experienced individual to lead and manage their companywide implementation, optimization, and support of SAP OTC processes. With your extensive experience in SAP OTC, you will be instrumental in driving end-to-end process optimization for order processing, order fulfilment, accounts receivable integration, and reverse logistics. As a leader, you will have to collaborate with their finance and technology departments to guarantee smooth operations and support with the wider company's growth goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the product roadmap and drive the standardized implementation and enhancements of process chain from order entry until return in close collaboration with your key stakeholders.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for SAP OTC landscape identifying opportunities for automation, process improvements and innovation.
  • Oversee the end-to-end OTC processes, including sales order management, pricing, invoicing and accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with other IT and technical teams to develop and implement solutions for system integration, enhancements and changes to OTC processes.
  • Take ownership of delivering OTC solutions based on business requirements, assessing impacts, priorities, and available resources.
  • Day to day management of both internal and external consultants as well as stakeholders across the business.

Experience required:

  • At least 10 years working within the SAP space with a strong focus on SAP order-to-cash processes including customizing, user experience and integration into SAP and non-SAP IT-landscapes.
  • Very good knowledge of B2C E-commerce business and processes, preferably in the areas of Order Management and Logistics
  • Inspirational leader with at least 3 years' of in-depth agile team management experience and possess the ability to deliver on agreed targets and empower your team to take ownership
  • Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus) and hands-on, people-centric management style focusing on delivery and team engagement.
