Job Description

Salary: £50,000 - £60,00 (FTE) plus excellent benefits.

Start date: June 2025 (or at the earliest opportunity)

This is a senior role in a high-performing and dynamic environment with a well-resourced team. The Head of Marketing and Communications (King's International) will be instrumental in telling the success story of King's College School Wimbledon International (KCSWI) to both internal and external stakeholders. This person will play a key role in building a global brand for a world-leading family of schools, ensuring that the values and achievements of the King's family are communicated effectively across diverse audiences with varying interests in KCSWI. The role will require strong strategic oversight to ensure consistency and impact across all marketing and communication channels.

As KCSWI continues to expand, this is an opportunity to be part of an ambitious and growing team based in Wimbledon, with global reach and influence.

This is a part-time role with a requirement to work the minimum of 3 days per week. Flexible working hours and remote working during non-term time possible.

Essential:

  • A high degree of personal motivation, initiative, and energy

  • Proven experience in marketing and communications
  • Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns across digital and print media
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align marketing initiatives with organisational objectives
  • Inclusive personality able to develop positive working relationships across the King's community in Wimbledon and overseas
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with social media platforms, refining digital content, and website management
  • Ability to use design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Canva, or to oversee creative content production
  • B2B marketing experience, particularly in building partnerships and expanding networks
  • Knowledge of PR and communications strategy

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with the education sector and its marketing landscape
  • Knowledge of digital analytics and performance tracking tools
  • Experience marketing to diverse international audiences
