Job Description
A fantastic opportunity for a permanent Head of HR, who enjoys a hands-on operational role within a fast-paced hospitality/ retail organisation. The organisation pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The HR team are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for their customers. They are now seeking a passionate and experienced Head of HR to join their leadership team.Role Overview:
As the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in driving HR initiatives across the organisation. This is a key leadership position where you will provide hands-on, operational HR support and guidance to the senior leadership team, department heads, and managers. You will have three direct reports in to you and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, including employment legislation, employee relations, change management, restructuring, training, recruitment, succession planning, payroll, pensions, and benefits.Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice, support, and coaching to senior leaders and managers on HR-related matters.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
Lead change management and restructuring initiatives.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
Oversee payroll, pensions, and benefits administration.
Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a Head of HR role, preferably within the hospitality or retail sector.
Qualified to level 7 of the CIPD or above or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
Hands-on approach with a focus on operational excellence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role is 5 days on site.
