Job Description

Following recent investments in our marketing and communications, including a complete website overhaul, a new visual identity, and enhanced presence across various platforms, Oasis is now ready for the next step in our growth. We're seeking a creative, articulate, and organised Head of Communications and Engagement to help elevate our presence, strengthen our positioning, and attract new markets and clients.

As the Head of Communications and Engagement, you'll play a key role in building on our achievements and driving our visbility in the outside world. You'll bring your creativity, strategic vision, and hands-on expertise to the team, ensuring Oasis continues to thrive and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance Oasis's visibility and reputation.
  • Identify and progress new business development opportunities
  • Manage and develop digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across our website, social media, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with the team to create content, manage campaigns, and engage with stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage media relations, public speaking opportunities, and external communications.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts, adjusting strategies where needed.

Skills and Competencies:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in mid - senior level marketing and communications.
  • Believes in the power of learning, development, and culture change to create a better world.
  • Demonstrates the ability to hit tight deadlines and manage a diverse workload.
  • Shows creativity, flexibility and accountability while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Has strong people skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Aligns with our values of collaborative, peer-based, purpose-driven work.

  • Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, experience dependent.
