Group Financial Controller

£65,000 - £70,000

Sellick Partnership has been exclusively engaged to recruit a Financial Controller for a high-growth SME in Manchester, who are looking for a highly driven individual to align with their growth plans and to own and control the finance function.

The organisation is on target to achieve £50mT in the next 3 years, and the ideal individual will be paramount to this and propelling the business further. The individual will be working closely with Senior Management and the opportunity is there, to become FD.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • 5 Key areas: Budgeting, Banking, Cost Control, Strategy and Team Leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement across the whole finance function
  • Implement Automation where possible
  • Manage WIP and implement strong budgeting controls
  • Influence and Challenge Senior team where possible
  • Lead a small team

The successful candidate will be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified

You will also be able to demonstrate business acumen and ability to gain knowledge across the breadth of a variety of functions. Good communication skills - able to translate financial information and create successful business relationships.
