Graduate Teaching Assistant Job Summary
- Full-time term time only Graduate Teaching Assistant role Long term contract until July 2025
- Opportunities to qualify as a teacher and gain QTS
- Role paying £420-£500 per week Paid weekly on PAYE basis
- Experience working with children is essential
- 2:1 or First-Class degree from top 20 UK University (backgrounds in English, Mathematics, or Science are especially valuable)
Graduate Teaching Assistant Job Role
- Supervise small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis enhancing their academic confidence and readiness
- Help manage classroom behaviour and observe and track student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers
- Support students by guiding them through well-structured lessons that align with the national curriculum.
- Support the class teacher assisting with classroom setup and materials preparation
