Job Description
Hays - Maintenance Gas Engineer Performing general gas engineering work, including fixing issues with existing gas works. Installing new gas works as required. Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of gas works. Responding to emergency gas engineering issues promptly and efficiently. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
What you'll need to succeedOur client is looking for a gas engineer with a background in maintenance and who is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in gas maintenance on residential properties.Main requirements:
What you'll get in returnYour work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30, with pay being allocated every Friday. - Proven experience as a maintenance gas engineer
- Relevant gas engineering qualifications (Gas Safe Registration, ACS Certification)
- Valid Driving Licence
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
