Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS)

Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python, AWS)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: 12 Months
Location: Galway, Ireland
Type: Hybrid (1 week onsite, 3 weeks remote)
Salary: €300 - €375 per day

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain advanced analytics solutions to process structured and unstructured datasets at scale
• Rapidly prototype and deliver data-driven tools to support investment research
• Collaborate with quant researchers, analysts, and other engineers in a highly agile, product-oriented team
• Drive architecture and technical design discussions, balancing scalability and speed
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
• Participate in on-call rotation and own the reliability of your solutions

Experience and qualifications required:

• 10+ years of enterprise development experience
• Advanced skills in Python, including data libraries like Pandas or NumPy
• Strong understanding of RDBMS, SQL/PLSQL, and data processing pipelines
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native tools
• Solid grounding in object-oriented programming and data structures
• Experience building Angular or React SPA applications (a strong plus!)
• Familiarity with extracting data from REST APIs, working across both Linux and Windows environments
• Comfort working on multiple tracks simultaneously, owning solutions end-to-end
• A background in migrating applications to the cloud is an added advantage
