Full Custom Analog Layout Engineer

Initial 6 month contract + option to extend

Leuven, Belgium + occasional meetings in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Our client provides the flexibility to work both from their office premises and remotely from home. This to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being an integral part of the team.

Develop various Full Custom Analog blocks, as per specifications provided and to perform signoff checks after completing Top Level floor planning and routing.

The assignment

  • Support migration by troubleshooting issues and applying documented workarounds
  • Assist and verify set up of migration (documents) in close collaboration with our client's flow and product owners.
  • Support user documentation created-changes with help from software product owner. Assist in testing of the new software environment based on documented test cases (user-based testing, not IT-code testing) and support test case administration Design Analog Layouts like PLL, BG, LVDS, IVREF etc. for various projects, as per the specifications provided.
  • Perform physical verifications like DRC, LVS, EM-IR and other applicable checks for the designed blocks.
  • Perform floorplan and top-level routing, keeping in mind the various power domains, and various challenges associated to mixed signal design.
  • Perform all CHIP level validations post Dummy fill and other sign-off checks necessary for the tape-out.
  • Provide all the deliverables in time to meet the Project deadlines.
  • Preparation of reports and completion of checklists at the end of the Project.

Required knowledge and skills

  • Strong experience in designing various Analog Blocks and for Top Level integration of these blocks and signoff checks.
  • Knowledge to design layouts in knowledge on TSMC16-12NM is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of EDA Tools.
  • Should be aware of Layout Dependent Effects for deep submicron technology nodes.
  • Tape-out experience on TSMC16-12NM node is required.
