Front Office Development Lead (Python) - Commodities - London - up to £150k + 30% bonus

Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading energy and commodities trading firm, seeking a Front Office Analytics Development Lead to join their team. In this role, you'll be focused on Front Office fundamental data, concentrating on development, analysis and managing project delivery on various greenfield projects to make data-driven decisions.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with traders and analysts, building high-performance analytics platforms that directly impact trading decisions in oil and agriculture. You will lead the development of scalable data solutions, optimise market data pipelines, and deploy cloud-based analytics models in a dynamic, fast-paced trading environment.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven experience leading development within a Front Office commodity trading environment.
• Experience with Python programming and strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Hands-on experience in building and optimising market data pipelines, analytics tools, and trading applications.
• Strong knowledge of market data structures, pricing models, market curves, and settlement curves, with a track record of implementing scalable solutions.
• Experience in data visualisation and developing analytics tools using Tableau, BI, and React.
• Strong background in cloud-based architectures, API integrations, and deploying models for Real Time data processing.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain high-performance systems in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.
