Freelance Content Creator - USA Market Experience Essential£35,000 - £40,000REMOTEThis role can be fully remote and requires experience of producing content for the USA market specifically. This is a freelance role for a minimum of 6 months. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Content Creator to join a globally renowned Media company in London.You will produce high quality written and multimedia content for American audiences across digital and print platforms.The Role:
- Develop content strategies that cater specifically to American audiences, ensuring cultural relevance and appeal
- Collaborate with print and digital editorial teams to create content aligning with company objectives
- Work closely with the in-market PR team to align on content releases
- Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
- Edit images and manage content within a CMS to ensure timely publication
- Create and optimize content for social media platforms, understanding the best practices for posting and engaging across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Stay updated on the latest trends in pop culture, sports, media and entertainment, to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English or a relevant field
- Strong understanding of American culture, and proven experience in content creation
- Background in journalism or a related field, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of written articles and video interviews.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences.
- Strong interviewing skills, with the ability to gain insightful and compelling responses from interviewees.
- Experience in video production, including filming, editing, and hosting, is desirable but not essential
