Job Description
Food Technology Teacher (Maternity Cover) Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons tailored to the needs of students with ASD, anxiety, and SEMH. Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support student progress. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to student development. Monitor and assess student performance, providing feedback and support as needed. Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Food Technology, preferably within a special educational needs setting. Understanding of the challenges faced by students with ASD, anxiety, and SEMH. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
