Financial Controller

As Financial Controller within the Finance Control & Operations department, your focus areas are primarily the company's investments, costs, and lease administration. This is not easy, as we have a national network that is increasingly managed digitally. You work closely with the technical departments of Odido with the aim of closing periods on time through smooth processes, delivering transparent management information, and passing the audit with flying colors. You improve and implement guidelines, ensure compliance, coordinate and control the activities of the Shared Service Center, and handle timely month-end and year-end closings.

Projects? You will surely find them enjoyable and educational. There is always something happening at Odido. Think of complex accounting topics, new system implementations, process improvements, acquisitions, mergers, and sales. As a Financial Controller, you are regularly responsible for projects and/or act as our finance ambassador in cross-departmental projects

You bring this

• Educational level/working and thinking level: Bachelor/ University in Finance & Control or Accounting
• Necessary number of years of relevant working experience: A minimum of 5 years in Control, Audit or Accounting positions.
• Experience in dealing with senior management.
• Necessary functional know-how, programs/subjects or sector knowledge: Proven change management skills and experience within a fast paced and large (international) company is a pre.
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and able to translate financial information effectively.
• But maybe most important, an eager to learn and innovative mindset with a desire to have some fun at work too.
