Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst | 6 month contract inside IR35 | Hybrid 3 days in Basingstoke | £18-20/hr to Umbrella

In this role, you will experience all aspects of the finance team's operations, particularly in areas of, supply chain management and financial partnering with broader business units and supporting the Product Supply and Distribution team to identify potential future process improvements and financial savings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with end-of-month financial tasks, including sales evaluations and input into internal reporting systems
• Preparing and submitting sales and financial metrics for regulatory bodies or external stakeholders
• Generating weekly sales reports using SAP and other market data sources, including ex-wholesale data
• Verifying and tracking free-of-charge billings, sales data, and customer incentive programs
• Analyzing sales data to support internal business requests
• Managing commercial programs by updating trackers, monitoring performance, and analysing trends
• Collaborating with the Commercial Manager to develop and implement deals with external clients
• Identifying and leading process improvements for the wider team

Full training on tools, product knowledge and internal systems will be provided within day-to-day functions.

Requirements

• Strong business acumen including data analysis, accurate reporting and presentation skills
• Thrives in a team environment but also self-motivating and happy to work on individual tasks
• Good technical experience of excel essential/sales reporting systems
• Experience of PowerBI and interesting in Data Analytics & Data Visualization
• Organisational and project management skills
