Financial Accountant

Our client is an international, private-equity backed business based in Derby, seeking a Financial Accountant to join the business on a permanent, full-time basis.

As Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Provide proactive support to the Senior Finance Controller in all aspects of monthly/statutory reporting and other financial related activities
• Being a key member of the Finance team, ensuring the department is able to react to all the necessary demands it faces given the constant changes which occur within the business.
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of financial information and develop and maintain appropriate controls as the business develops
• Monthly submission of EMEA sub-consolidated accounts and assist with the project improvement plan
• Develop UK Statutory accounts reporting
• Manage Group audit tasks
• Monthly FX Review
• Cashflow Forecasting and development of reporting
• Interco Loan and Interest calculations
• VAT Returns, working to improve and manage MTD project
• Reconcile Interco Balances & drive improvement to clear balances

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

• Ideally a first time mover from Practice, however, would consider suitable, qualified candidates from industry
• A Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Technical Accounting Experience
