Job Description
Finance Assistant in an international manufacturing company in Leicester. - permeant role. Up to £28,000 Oversee and manage: The entire payment process, including vendor payments, licensor payments, subcontractor payments, employee reimbursements, and intercompany transfers. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payments in compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Verify new vendors and any bank changes according to company policies. Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledgers, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately. Collaborate with Sales Managers and Merchandising Teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices. Monitor cash flow and forecast payment schedules to ensure sufficient funds are available for project needs. Develop and implement payment policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control. Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner. Prepare and present regular reports on payment activities and financial status to senior management. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in payment management. Raise and answer queries through the appropriate channels, liaising with relevant stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed
