Job Description


On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Analyst to work in an established team. With the number of roles, we are either seeking someone looking to move into this area of Finance with relevant qualifications, or someone with a few years of experience, particularly in this area.What you'll be doing
Providing financial analysis and insight to support stakeholders; drive action and improve future performance.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes and lead multi-site improvement activities as required.
Optimise financial performance with a focus on relevant KPI within business specialisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting including weekly flash, weekly profit and loss, and month end close are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Develop and communicate KPI metrics to monitor and drive positive change.
  • Understanding of cost or margin drivers
  • Ensure input into costings is accurate and within agreed timescales
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Support budget and quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform strategic decision-making
  • Identify, challenge, and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation, and insight to the functional teams, promoting effective delivery of commercial and operational performance
  • Review business practices and make recommendations for changes to enhance efficiency and improve processes
  • Preparation and monitoring of monthly reports and ensuring queries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Validate and monitor excellence initiatives for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as required.


What we're looking for

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), QBE or studying towards a qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role or performing similar functions
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate with all levels of the business
  • Proactive, organised, and able to work flexibly to meet deadlines and have the drive to deliver results.
  • Power BI is desirable.
