Are you passionate about supporting children and families by leading and delivering a range of interventions?
Join our Family Hub, where you will lead interventions for families with children from conception to 19 years old (or 25 with special educational needs and disabilities), centred around the Start for Life offer.Family Hubs connect families, services and professionals, fostering strong relationships in the community.
You will provide evidence-based support to parents, helping children thrive and reach their potential.This includes targeted outreach, Early Years activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage and Best Start for Life vision and connecting families to essential services, working at the heart of the community.
About the role
By leading evidence-based initiatives, delivering impactful learning sessions and championing the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, your role will be crucial to help lay the groundwork for every child's success.You will deliver inclusive programmes in high-need areas, reaching and engaging "seldom heard" families to break down barriers and empower communities.
As part of a dynamic multi-agency team, you will work across clusters, connecting families to Family Hub Services and the Best Start for Life programme.From running accredited parenting workshops to tracking developmental progress and implementing early interventions, your expertise will help ensure no child is left behind.
Your role goes beyond education - it is about building trust, safeguarding children and helping families thrive. Through home visits, assessments and personalised support, you will encourage independence and self-confidence.By managing caseloads, collaborating with partners and maintaining accurate records, you will ensure every family has the tools they need to succeed.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Must have acquired or working towards minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare and education or primary education, work with parents, health or social work.
- Flexibility and a commitment to inclusivity are key, as you will bring high-quality support to families in diverse settings.
Progression to SO2 grade:
- Level 4 award in work with parents.
- Experience of groupwork and parenting support.
- Experience of support families with developing plans of support and case work recording.
