We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director. This is a unique opportunity for a highly capable, strategic, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
The Role
As Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, you will act as a critical right-hand support, ensuring the MD's time is optimized, priorities are managed, and business goals are advanced efficiently. This is not just an administrative role-it requires strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate and solve challenges before they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the MD's complex diary, appointments, and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless scheduling.
- Act as the first point of contact for the MD, handling correspondence and communication with discretion and professionalism.
- Coordinate key business meetings, preparing agendas, briefing documents, and following up on action items.
- Conduct research and prepare reports, presentations, and business documents.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth communication and operations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of internal events.
- Oversee and manage key administrative functions to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar senior support role, ideally within a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to anticipating needs and addressing challenges.
- High emotional intelligence and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in media, publishing, events, or a similar sector.
- Familiarity with CRM and project management software.
- A keen interest in business growth, strategy, and operational excellence.
