Your new company
Our client is a large, well-known FM Provider who works across a number of commercial sites across the UK. They are hiring an Evening Mechanical Engineer who will act as a company representative on client sites and must uphold outstanding standards of commercial service.
Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programs and reactive maintenance activities. You will be working Monday - Thursday Evenings with Fridays off and working 1 Saturday per month.
Your key duties will include:
- Carry ou PPM activities and reactive work when required
- Complete all associated documentation for the required role
- Utilise career knowledge alongside diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Uphold health and safety guidelines and ensure work is to a high standard
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
- Carry out any other reasonable management requests
- Partake in regular team meetings to update on progress and discuss relevant issues
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require relevant experience of operating as a Mechanical Engineer within a commercial environment. You will also require:
- Experience with BMS Systems and excellent fault-finding skills
- Full driving licence
- Level 3 qualification
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision
