Job Description

infeurope is looking for an EU Policy Specialist Financial Instruments with at least 5 years of experience in providing consultancy for international organisations in the area of financial instruments and microfinance.

Permanent position. Starting Date: ASAP. Location: Luxembourg

Job Description:

Consultancy for the implementation of the Social Inclusive Finance Technical Assistance (SIFTA) under the InvestEU Advisory
i. participation in coordination meetings, including inter alia preparation of meeting minutes;
ii. drafting of implementation documents, such as guidelines, work plan with retained service providers for the delivery of the technical assistance, etc.
iii. monitoring of legal documents and application of beneficiaries from the request of services to the signature of the advisory agreement (ASA)

Contribution to the implementation of the FI-compass advisory platform
i. assisting with preparation, finalisation and distribution of documents, including letters, notes, reports, graphs, and ppt presentations;
ii. managing the information flow to ensure smooth running of activities
iii. participation in capacity building activities in favour of Managing Authorities across the EU and in favour of the European Commission;
iv. support in drafting and reviewing of studies and reports related to financial instruments, such as micro-entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and skills and education, etc

Expected profile:

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Economics, with background/interest in EU policies in microfinance and ESF+. A master's degree will be considered an asset
Experience: 5 years' experience in project management roles within microfinance
Knowledge: Knowledge/interest in EU policies and frameworks
Language: Proficiency in English (C2) is required
Communication: Excellent oral and written communication in English and interpersonal skills are essential, as the Expert will be required to interact with various stakeholders, including EU officials, Managing Authorities and similar
