Estimating Engineer Milton Keynes

Your new company
Our Client specialises in High Voltage Electrical and Civil Engineering services that design and construct Balance of Plant infrastructure and grid connections for a range of power engineering projects across a number of sectors up and down the UK.
Their experience in the industry has allowed years of knowledge and expertise to build, which means they can create bespoke and cost-effective solutions that will get their customers onto the grid quicker and with more flexibility.

Your new role
Working as an Estimation Engineer, you will play a key part in developing and creating tenders and providing detailed estimates for client projects.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing cost estimates and cost budgets for new contracts and ensuring consistency.
  • Making amendments to any tenders and providing new cost estimates.
  • Work time estimates,
  • Writing detailed proposals for each client and ensuring they are adhering to any client guidelines.
  • Keeping clear and open communication between new and existing clients and internal teams.
  • Providing key market data/advice to clients.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this position, you will need to have experience within an Estimation/Tendering Engineering position.
  • Experience in building cost estimates from 33kv - 132kv.
  • Experience and understanding of the UK's DNO requirements.
  • Knowledge of BoP works associated with Battery Storage Projects (Advantageous)
