ESG Data analyst (carbon data management and reporting)

We are seeking a Data Analyst who is proactive and meticulous with a passion for sustainability and have a solid background in carbon data management and reporting! The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a track record of implementing process improvements.

Required profile

• ESG savviness and curiosity to continue to (self-)learn on evolving ESG market trends. Proactively enhancing your and the team's knowledge, eg by reading or networking externally
• Comfortable with working in a fast-changing environment, which means that responsibilities and role can be subject to change over time
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and project management skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with carbon data management and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and tools like Collibra.
• Experience with creation report in PowerBI
• Able to do data analysis with Excel
• Capacity to do basic SQL queries and programming in Python is a plus

Key Responsibilities

1. Operationalize Carbon Data Processes: Own the end-to-end process for producing carbon data, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
2. Process Improvement: Engage with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, supporting the transition to net zero.
3. Reporting and Tooling Needs: Identify requirements for reporting and tactical tools to support carbon data management and net zero initiatives.
4. RFP and Tool Implementation: Support request for proposal (RFP) process and implement carbon management tools.
5. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with various entities, business functions, and Eco-Act to run carbon data optimally.
6. Change and Project Management: Supervise change and project management activities related to carbon data and reporting.
