Job Description
ER/ HR Advisor - Sleaford / Lincolnshire - £36,000 to £43,000 DOE and qualifications - plus £5,000 car allowance (some travel to other sites)
Your new company
This is a large group in the manufacturing sector with various Business Units operating in the UK and Ireland. ER Advisory Department for 1 Business Unit with 9 UK/Ireland sites - based at Sleaford / Lincolnshire with some travel to other sites (Sites TBC)
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior ER Advisor for the business unit HR services you will be working in a team of 3 ER Advisors (based at various sites), responsible for providing a HR service on all areas of Employee Relations / case work.
You will use your HR and employment law knowledge and experience to :
Be accountable for case management within your business units acting as a point of escalation for the HRBPs.
Ensuring delivery of continuous improvement in case management
Responsible as a Subject Matter Expert for a high impacting ER cases
Provide pragmatic case management support and advice on all employee relations matters, including but not limited to, Disciplinaries, Investigations, Grievances, Appeals, AWOL, Redundancy, TUPE, Ill Health Capability, Long Term Sick Absence, Performance Management, Flexible Working, Probation Reviews etc
Manage and support the business with occupational health referrals
Manage and support the business with Early Conciliation/ Employment Tribunal and Workers Relations Committee Cases.
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Assistant (with ER experience) to step up their career or a current ER/HR Advisor with high volume ER casework experience , and who enjoys the ER aspect of HR, to join a large matrix UK based organisation, with career development potential (due to the size of the organisation)
What you'll need to succeedAn experienced HR Professional with ER & HR Advisory background.
Ideally you will be minimum CIPD Level 3 Qualified, ideally Level 5 - or working towards - or possess demonstratable suitable equivalent level of experience.
Up-to-date Employment Law knowledge
High volume ER casework experience and interest in ER work
Excellent communication skills and influencing skills.
Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, advisory and mediation skills
Time management and organisational skills
