Job Description

Enterprise Technology Service Manager

A leading tech & data company are looking for an Enterprise Technology Service Manager to manage a portfolio of on-premise and SaaS Enterprise solutions that are used across the company. You will ensure applications and suppliers are supported and managed effectively resulting in excellent service to the business.

This is a permanent role based in Peterborough with a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain system support models including appropriate SLAs across the Enterprise Portfolio
  • Manage project transaction from development/pre-support into full enterprise systems service
  • Act as the primary escalation point for any complex business impacting service issues and co-ordinate activity through to resolution
  • Responsible for the delivery of key tech business management and strategic initiatives including supplier rationalization, cost management and nearshore service management support
  • Be the technical owner and identify value added development and automation opportunities
  • Effective management of Enterprise Systems Controls as part of operational risk management processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Enterprise Technology market, ensuring platforms deliver the best outcomes to the business

Experience required:

  • Excellent knowledge of IT service management and its application across a wide range of services
  • Experience in application implementation and a business change project environment
  • Experience of working with SaaS or 3rd party application services
  • Experience of working with ITIL processes
  • Very good working knowledge of service contract management
  • Working knowledge of risk management frameworks
